Sunnylane Family Church

Youth Ministry

The goal of the Sunnylane Family Church Youth Ministry is to guide youth 6^th-12^th grade to practically apply biblical principles to their everyday lives. We believe in partnering with parents to grow our children’s faith and provide a framework to help parents continue a faith-based conversation at home.

We hope to cultivate a passion for reading the Bible, God's Word.

6^th – 12^th grade students meet with Pastor Ryan Davis each Wednesday at 6:30pm in the youth room of the Faith Building Center.

Sunday morning Connect Groups are also available for this age group Sundays at 9:00am in the Faith Building Center (across from the Sanctuary/gym building).

Pastor Ryan Davis was earning his degree in teaching from Hillsdale Bible College when he began attending Sunnylane Family Church. He interned in Kids Ministry in Owasso, Oklahoma before returning to SFC as the Children's Pastor. He finds joy in working with children and teaching them about Jesus. He is married to Lacey and together they have 4 wonderful children - Paisley, Finley, Gentry, and Lincoln.

Service & Missions

One way the youth live out their faith is in service to others. Youth members partner with the church food pantry to serve families in our community. When the food pantry is open, youth welcome families with a warm lunch before they are served in the pantry.

They also do storm cleanup and projects as needed for church members, elderly and single parents in the community.

Mission opportunities are available each year either local, domestic, or internationally.

Youth Summer Camp

Each Summer, we attend a faith-based camp at the Kiamichi Baptist Assembly. We focus on growing our faith and building relationships.

More information will be available for students who wish to attend.
